Gentle and soft impressions hide a stronger, more vigorous face within these ceramics, silently insist in ordinary dining scene. His signature glazing and colouring, and “shinogi” techniques are proving "Koh Ichino 市野耕” as a young, talented ceramist who has been making aesthetic ceramics in Ehime Japan.
It is very interesting to see how the original red clay turns into a naturally white face when the white clay slip is added, which is called "white makeup" in Japan. These white ceramics show a natural depth of colour, which comes from minerals in the soil combined with the ceramists skills.
